well im tearing my 05 450r down for witner to start painting here

soon for my school project and it needs done anyways. But i have

a problem again. My swing arm bolt wont come out.. i tried

pounded it and tried wrenching it out. nothing works.. im thinking

my swingarm bearrings went bad and froze up on the bolt.. do

you guys think heating it will work? or any other ideas.. i wanna

just take a sledge and knock it out and go buy a new one its so

frustrating lol..

Very common problem, try an impact, but first soak it over night with PB Blaster. Chances are you may have to take a sawzall to it and cut it out. When you install the new one, coat it in anti seize compound, which you can find at any auto parts store. Then, twice a year, remove it and reapply.

PS - You will learn a few new cuss words!!

same thing happened to me yeah that bolt just stayed in there! with a ton of curse before and after!!!:D

im about to tear my 07 down in a few weeks, is this something i have to be concerned about? hopefully it will slide right out because it hasnt been in that long, when i put it back in is greese ok or should i use something else to prevent it from happening?

use greese and any other corrosion stoping can and make sure u

dont ride it when the bearrings go out they will freeze to the bolt
