Im interested in building a ramp, but not one of those huge like 8 footers right away. i saw this one on the ramp specs thread, but it doesnt have much detail. http://www.exriders.com/vbb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2244322

does anyone have more detail on that one, or specs on one of a similar size? or if anyone has one for sale id prolly be interested.

Thats Rootar's ramp, its bigger now that hes added on to it, but basically thats al there is to building one.

thje cruve is what is tricky, and as you can see, he used the cut and bend approach( See all the welds on the curved piece of metal, you cut threw all three sides except the one, bend together the cut peices so they touch and weld it again).

just make sure have you have an Degree angle finder to find the 35*

please dont build that ramp, dont be dumb like i was either just take a full size ramp and take however many feet off the top you want to just design it to where you can add the missing height back on later. remem,ber your building a ramp for the consistancy and the ability to move it forward and backward. Make sure you have enough run room and enough dirt to make a large landing in scale to your ramps height (usally a landing thats a couple feet taller is good).
