Hey! Welcome to exriders!

i would say for your first HP mod an aftermarket air filter and a pipe and the proper jets.... after that get a set of aftermarket tires

i agree, the stock filters on quads should have a big warning lable that says "1 time use" there disposable basicly after a while they break down and let more dirt in or get cloged. Heres a tip i seem to be the only one doing it......take some wd40 type oil/lube and spray the inside of you carb boot and walls of the air box with it. since most boxes have a snorkle the air hit the back wall of the box and the oil collets all that **** before it hits the filter, if it makes it through the filter it will get stuck to the inside of the varb boot. Hey you can NEVER be to saw when it comes to dirt in a engine :p

best bang for the buck on a stock 300 is to get rid of that pea shootin' header pipe. i like my white brothers header. kinda loud with my pro circut silencer though.

an EX Riders sticker will ad 5hp. after that a pipe, jetting, and a k&N air filter. Do them all at once so you don't have to re jet each time.
Welcome to ex riders!!!

Welcome to the site, theres lots of interesting facts and people around, if you need any help just ask :) A pipe is a good start, or just start with lil things, air filter... and go from there.

I'm pretty new to the site too. New rear tires is a must after the power pick-up, and pipe, those balloons really slow you down on the track. I just put some 400EX tires on mine, and it's made a world of difference in turning!

well, for a 300ex everyone is right...get a pipe and a filter first...then i would recommend some nerf bars, they have saved my legs a lot of times..they will prevent trees catching your leg in between the pegs, and in tight spots you can slide around a tree if you have to with nerfs...next some front tires "i recommend razrs, i put razrs on my 400 and it made it handle like a brand new bike...and then some rear tires...maybe razrs also, or whatever you want for your terrain..after that, maybe a bumper. that is my list of mods i would want to make within the first 6 months to a year
