thats call fighting back.. it obviously doesnt want to be sold haha. anyway, check your spark plug and air filter. also, when was the last time it was started up? if it wasnt for a while and those two things dont solve it then try blowing out your carb with compressed air.

when you take the plug out. turn your fuel off and ground the plug on a bolt to the engine or the frame and crank the engine to see if ur getting a consistent spark. if you are, you may have a plugged up pilot jet.

yes old gas will plug up a pilot jet. when gas gets stale it forms like a brown silty crap that will clog the carb up.

you gotta use the thing that came in the tool kit, if you still have it.

Neither of these are neccessarily true...

I'm using a Craftsman 18mm deepwell socket as is:D

my 18 mm craftsman deep well socket didn't fit, neither did the 18 mm craftsman spark plug socket that i bought before i remembered i had an 18 deep well...i just said "ahhh screw it" and bought the msr socket...nice little tool, but kinda expensive...

btw, i still had that junk thing from the tool kit, i wanted to use a ratchet because it is pain to use the tool kit wrench

it could be your plug or an old gas issue like they said but also check your airboot and airfilter to be sure it is all sealed up also i know after i wash my bike it will sometimes spit and sputter like that untill it drys

i thought the tool from the kit was pretty easy to use

i hate the allan wrench in the hole deal ...it is much easier to stick a socket down in and turn...

i custom machined one :D like the stock kit, but able to take a 3/8 ratchet. pretty awesome

the day i bought my 4-wheeler. i test drove it and then the guy went to drive it up in the back of the truck. the plug fouled. sounds like the same issue you are having.
