They are worth buying and mine stays tight usually. I check it often though just to make sure. I would get the Baldwin anti-fade because it has all steel surfaces in the splines, bearings, and clip in the axle.

The anti fade has bearings in it?

No the surface that rides inside the carrier is steel as well as the splines and where the axle clip touches.

I know its not top of the line stuff, but i bought a RAD locknut and it hasn't loosened up at all since installation in January....

I could never see spending $300 on a NUT! I have a Dura Blue Axle nut, and I have raced, been to the dunes, and trail rode GALORE and it has NEVER come loose. I would highly recommend it, that or the RAD nut.

I paid $60 for mine

Get it, I love mine, to take it off, all you have to do is loosen the hex bolt and give the big nut a nudge and its off. I had to use a 6' cheater bar to get my stock one off!!
