ya i had my 07 250ex for about 7 months

watch for the differencial skid plate in mud it drags really bad so hit the mud fast and plan to get stuck once or twice

i have dented my wheels pretty bad off roading so watch for big rocks

mine does great in the water up to 2ft so no problem there if u go slow.

watch the front end they are very light and on a hill climb if you dont keep a steady rpm you might pick up the front tires prety bad

and if you dont already get some different tires my stock ones didnot last and they do not hook up good in mud

but best advice is to ride and get used to it and you will get the most info. and advice there i have rode about 140 hours on mine and still dont know everything that it does so it takes some time
:D

lean into the direction you're turning, dont rev out each gear, no need to do so on a 250.

lean back on steep descents, forward on hills

if you hit a jump and are way nose high, stab the rear brakes slightly.

Enjoy!!
AND wear riding protection EVERY ride.
"Dress for the crash...not for the ride"

My worst injuries were from "I'm just going to take a look up that hill before I get dressed and start ridng..."

y cant we rev out each gear..? all the fun is in accelerating and riding fast etc

i love to rev out the gears shifting where you make your most power doesnt mean you will go faster.

The power curve nose dives long before redline. Shift for power, not for noise.

it isnt a huge nose dive, your still making good HP. shift when you get your max power and i bet you lose to someone reving it out

you can really air out these 250's!
if you know how to set bounce it is alot easier!
the landing hurts bad!!!! if you go really big!

keep the atv under control, and dont try anything your not comfy doing (you can challenge yourself after you get the "hang" of it)

take it easy at first and then as your skills increase you can try more difficult things, the best rides are when you come home with your quad and you in the same shape you left

ok first wen u take off pop the clutch or ur shifter so the bike doesnt wheelie and when u drift a right lean on the right side of the 250 the same goes 4 the other side this is so u can drift better lol
