Well i just realized my precision wont fit unless i cut out my guessets. Whats up with this. I havent read anything about on here, but I just want to let others know not to install those front guessets if you ever plan on getting a precision.

Of coarse I am going to cut them out but I just wanted to save some others the hassle.

What brand gusset kit? I have a Bare kit and it doesn't hit anything.

I ran into the same problem. I just notched them out to clear it.

ouch....... sorry to hear it. Your gonn ahave to grind into that fresh powder. What i would do is, grind out enough to make the precision fit and then get some of that new clear gorilla glue and put it around the spots that you grind so that the powder doesnt start peeling

oh and Props for using the search button:blah:

I see I did not mention it but I used the BARE kit. My advice is to remove those pieces from the kit before you take it to be installed!

I would make this a sticky if possible. This is something a lot of us are glad to know now.

the reason i am glad is cause i just ordered a Bare Gusset kit and still need to buy a stabilizer. either ill do a pep, precision or elka so at least now i know what to do as far as the gusset kit.

instead of grinding the gussets grind the precision:blah: That's what my friend did with his and it worked fine.

I thought about that but if I grind the mount there would be nothing left. The gusset is big and the percision mount needs to be right where the gusset is??
