What year should I get?

I have an 04 for me- it blew up & was rebuilt. The kid has it now. I bought an 07er for myself & now the other kid is due. If I bought an 04 - 05 I wouldn't pay much because it should be in the "time to rebuild mode" . I don't have the money for another 07/08. What do you recomend? I figure $3 or 4 grand is the budget.

jsut get a 05. i have a basically new 450r thats all stock, and has like 30 hours on it. its a late 05 (left over) and it just sits in the garage and never gets ridden. it was for my brother to ride with me when i first got mine, and now he never rides because he bought a r6. we are asking 4900, i know that its out of your price range your wanting to pay, but its in great shape. pm me if your interested.

I have a 06 and a 07 and 2 05's and if i were to do it over again i would not have bought the 06 or the 07 and just had more 05's.

I just bought 2 450er 06 for 4000 each one has an hrc kit on it good are out there if you have CA$h in hand just keep looking
