hey, i've seen some threads about these powernow kits and after seeing some of the numbers was thinking of getting one for my kfx, but i havent been able to find some of the info im looking for....

first off i wondered about installation? i saw the two pieces you get, and i dont know anything about this kit as it was news to me, but the best i can tell it looks like the only places i would think they fit is either side of the carbuerator? and do they fit right into the carb ports or do you have to shorten the air boots?

also was wondering if this mod requires rejetting? haha im just sick of jetting quads but i guess if i have to i will.

any info would be appreciated.

those powernows just are a waste of money, they dont do anything. just go out and buy something better with your money.

make your ownpower now (http://www.thumperfaq.com/downloads/JamesNOW!.pdf)
later development, drilling a hole will help a little.

i dont know if you can do it on a kfx tho, plastic intake manifold seems kinds short but try it anyways.

also stock carb on a kfx has a butterfly valve, so it would be harder to do/might not work as well if it was a slide. some people spent money on the powernow and said there was slightly more throttle response.

IMO the power now and power now plus are more of a gimmick and dont do much. I would have to see it to believe it.
