IMO,
1.Get some decent tires first. That'll just about use up your $300. They will give you a new outlook on handling.
2. Bolt ons like exhaust, filters, and jetting are the next least expensive to tires.
3. Upgrade the suspension if you can, but it will cost you more than three bills, however you go about it.

the only thing u can do is buy elka or works aftermarket or get the shock relocater kit and put 400 ex shocks on it

Yeah, those are the only choices I know of. I haven't bottomed out since putting the 400ex front shocks on and I running about an inch lower in front too.

personally i would have lost that DG exhaust and goton the HMF full system, its much better. Nerf bars are always great, the look better, feel more confortable, and they can save you. K&N airfilter and open air box lid really lets it breathe better and more performance. Just remember to rejet it. I would sell the DG and then use the money from that and the $300 for an HMF full sytem, K&N airfilter, then depending on how much money you get for your exhaust get nerf bars. Most are around $100

well im on a limited budget so i will get a hmf in the future bcuz i no that DG exhaust sucks i traded my stock exhaust for it so it was a good deal.

I agree, nerfs are a wise investment. I bought the Tusks from RMATV.
We had club member who didn't have nerfs, get pulled off his quad during an mx race last week. He had moderate leg injuries, but also damaged his quad after it dragged and rolled over him!

Do I need to quote the FAQ to prove you wrong?

Ryan,

The FAQs are a wealth of information, I appreciate the effort.
But, is there a way to delete all of the off topic BS that went on about dumping used oil and gas, ect?
It might make it easier for some of the 'young uns' to read, knowing that only pertinent info is in the FAQs.

if i were u i would get razor tires, and for the front suspention i would widend with diamond j customs and get the 400ex shocks. Or if that is too much money just get converstion kit and 400ex shocks. I also strongly suggest to sell ur dg exhust. for that money you could probly get an air filter and jet kit.

If it's not true, send me a PM telling me specifically what isnt "all true" and if I find that it is inaccurate or untrue, I'll change it. Until then, it's staying the way it is.

TedWilley,
Check your pm's.

My advice to you is not to get holeshot hd's. Those tires are HEAVY, it would really slow it down, and they will probably grip way to much, espcecially when you want to powerslide. Not to mention they are really expensive. If were you I would get the regular razr's. I had them on my old 250 and they were great. Plus they are a lot easier on your wallet.
