if you keep a bike maintained well by changing he oil and doing random checks before ridding then most bikes will last forever but from my experiance... once you start doing all the mods to them they get less and less reliable.. a 400ex or z400 is a more reliable choice that has reverse for trails.. or a outlaw.. those are some pretty nice rides

You can ride anything, anywhere, different riding situations will cause wear on different parts, but a 450, that is well maintained will last quite a while...

yeah it sucks when you start modding them, but its not always true, if you do it right the first time, and make sure you dont rush through it, and make every little thing is right, then you make sure oil is changed regularly, and got nothing but the best of the best vital fluids, it should last you a long time
