hey i just ordered ASV's for my 2004 yfz450, i'm wondering if they fit because it said on the info. "may not work with some elec. starts" does anyone know if they fit??? lemme know please!!!

They will fit, you just might have to do a little rewiring. For example, my 400ex has an ASV clutch lever, but it won't start in gear until I cross some wires.

i have a msr clutch lever had to rewire so it would start in gear, not a big deal. i used a kill switch off a crf450 for a starter button. do a search for a wire diagram if your quad has a clutch switch, to see what wires you have to jump. thats what i did

If you just add the lever and keep the stock button cluster it should start in neutral, the only thing you'll need to change is if you want it to start in gear, and you will eventually want to do that.

www.kandkatv.com , When they came in i had to cut a sensor and integrate the wires with a twist, then i had to adjust the throttle cable a lot. Finally there perfect and look great!!! if anyone has any questions what you have to do with a 2004 yfz450 i can tell you in exact steps...thanks guys
