Im looking to buy a cell phone off of eBay, and im just wondering about the unlocked ones. Im looking just for a cell without a plan where i can buy the minute cards and put the money in the cellphone. So will an unlocked cell phone do this? thanks

yeah get one with a sim card technology thats unlocked then you can buy a sim card and activate it with whatever company you choose and just throw it in their.....

i have a motorola razr in mint condition ill sell you for 100 and get it unlocked .. i work for tmobile

I got an Unlocked boost I730 off ebay and it was great. Never had a problem with it.

Where do you get the sim cards from and how do you install them?

they just slide in behind the battery and you can get them at any cell phone store.

Verizon doesnt use Sim Cards....

And when you check the auction, make sure Bell works with them. Don't waste your time with Telus out in your area. Some unlocked phones won't hook up with Bell. Just ask them.

damn i didnt think you woulda known about this. I coulda talked to you earlier. maybe you have an idea whats up with mine. Old blue just freezes all the time i have to pull the battery off to get it to work again but then it just happens again.

The reason why I know so much about it is because I was looking for an unlocked cell on eBay last month after I sold my paintball gun but I spent all my money that I made off of it on Subway subs.

Old blue is rough. Abuse is most likely what caused it. Nothing is going to cure it except for a new phone. Let it go.
