:devil I everyone,

Im preparing my 400ex for racing this winter... My motor is .120 oversize and ive got a rev chip from wb. All the intake is polish and ive got the k&n kit.Ič m wondering what kind of pipe will be the best for a low torque power to mid range... With me current settings.

from what i've been told, for racing, engine builders pipes are always better. so, if i were you, i would look at getting an LRD, sparks, or CT pipe. also, welcome to the site. :macho

I m wondering what will be the best company.. I was looking for a supertrapp ids2 or maybe a fmf powercore 4 ... , Witch one will you think will be the best for me !

my friend races, he runs a supertrapp, he loves it, but i've also heard that they're not the best in the world. a lot of people love their FMF power core 4 exhaust. i'd just test drive a bike that had either exhausts, to get a feel of what it's like.

get the lrd or sparks x-6 best pipes i have rode so far...

and go throw a tc mx grind cam or atleast xr400 cam or something in ur 400 it will change the whole machine;)

The irc pipe looks like a great buy. i m gonna check out on that.. I just have another question for you guys.. Is a 14 toots sproket a must for my settings..

i wouldn't really think you would need the 14t, you already have a built motor, but if you feel it sorta laggin in a few places, it might be a good investment

dont use a 14th for a built motor, its kinda dumb, a bored over, HC motor has enought bottom end to pull a 15 or 16, JMO

Go with an engine builders pipe, you won't be disapointed.

your not supposed to polish your intake that will cause it to run worse you can polish the exhaust side but your supposed to rough up the intake side because the trubulance that it creates is actually needed
