Does anyone think it it would be worth it to take out the stage 1 Hotcam, and switch it out for a stage 2 whenever I get my 416 rebuild, which will include JE 11:1 piston, 416 kit, and maybe a 04/05' 450r carb or a small port job...

also;
I want to go for max or close to max HP out of this 416 so it can have a stock or even piped 450 running after me, which would give me more power gains a port job or carb?

Ya the stage2 is mainly made a 400ex with some engine work like a 416 kit. The stage 1 is meant for more stock engines. It would be an awesome combo which I want to do when I am older.:)

Do you have a full exhaust system? If yes then I'd switch out the stage 1 for a stage 2 and spend the money for the port, polish, valve job and valve seals. You can always do the carb later.

No I just have the slip-on. But the stock headers flow pretty well, I could always get the headpipe later on.

I'll see how much the bore and piston along with the port job will cost me, I'm going to have 500 and then save up an extra 200 dollars so do you think I should have enough, to include the mild port job and possibly switching out the cam?

If I do switch out the cam I'm going to sell it to my friend for 170, its only got barely a year on it.
