Need more top end!!!

Here's the deal. I have a KFX with the mods in my sig, and my dad has a stock rappy 700. since he's about 150 more pounds than I am, I beat him in races all the time until I begin to top out in 5th gear, then he flies past me. It's like his 5th gear is a wider ratio. What can I do to make my top end a little longer? I don't really want to go bigger rear tire, because I race a little motocross, but was thinking of a 15 tooth front sprocket or a smaller rear sprocket. Any ideas? I don't want to lose my bottom end if possible. Thanks!!!

making the front sprocket bigger and/or the back smaller u will lose bottom end but i think if you feel the need to do so id do the back because the front would make a huge difference.

get a K&N and jet ur carb

read his sig, hes got a uni and an hmf which means he is rejetted also.

i would say a 15tooth front sproket would do it. you wont have too much bottom end torque with that and your gears will be longer but you will achiece the top end you want. at 10 or 15 bucks it wont hurt to try.
