exhaust flange install Q

would you put Hi-temp sealant on the flange gasket to the cylinder or just on the part the pipe slips onto? I was thinking I would install the gasket dry and only put the RTV on the pipe connection part. thoughts??

on the pipe side.... after market esr ones have 3 o ring and no leaks.

even at that i still apply the hi-temp in between the o-rings for better insurance. :cool:
