Does anyone know all the different things I can do to lighten my flywheel?

It would be a bad idea to try it yourself. Not saying you couldn't do it, but you need to have the right tools to do it with. If not, it will not be balanced.

I would take it to a builder with the proper tools.

what Scro said. theres more to it then just putting it in a laith and taking some weight off it. Ask the guy who own DGR i think it is. He might be able to help you. Not sure on his user name but do a search.

It is not recommended to lighten the flywheel on a 400ex, it will actually run slower.

Just so you hear it from one more source, it's not really a "do-it-yourself" modification. It needs to be balanced fairly precisely, or you're going to end up with vibration problems and possible reliability issues.
