Quick Carb Question

I have an 03 400ex and i don't know which position is on or off (up or down) for the choke.

with quad on flat ground, when the yellow lever is pointed downward, that is choke off (normal riding), when it is flipped up towards the front of quad the choke is on (cold starting position)
