looks real nice

hope your quick with the learning curve (you just bought one of the baddest quads made for your first)
those twist throttles can be tricky (hard to let off of)
welcome aboard, and thanks for sharing

other than the wheel spacers I like the bike. you should drop the spacers and get extended axle instead. Better on the bearings and hubs.

In the rear it makes no difference... Only the front falls into that category.

Welcome to the site.

depends, but check ebay.com and find a place that will ship it there. but with shipping it may just be cheaper to buy it there. anyway, welcome to the forums, im new as well to an extent and I dont know much about 4 strokes yet but im slowly learning. I now know I can bore my carb with a dremel! LOL but id rather just buy the edelbrock. Once again welcome man....

Probably not the greatest "starter" quad, but a great one nonetheless. Don't over do it, start slow and work your way up until you get more experience on your ride. Great looking ride by the way. I'm also in agreeance with dumping the spacers.

pretty hard core 1st bike!!

ditch the spacer and twist throttle... twist throttles are NOT for beginners.. you'll see what i mean when you try your 1st wheelie!

congrats aaron

can i ask what the differance between spacers and wider axels are? i no the obvious but what are the pros and cons? i can see anymore stress on parts as theres no bearings on the rear?

your perfectly fine with the wheel spacers. it is the cheaper way for an extended axle

why is it not a good starter quad, im 14 but i was 13 when i bought it ( and yes I bought it), and i am fine, and still looking for more power, and added a good bit of performance parts too. even blainekaiser has one and i think he got it when he was 12. i have seen videos of him on the track, and he is really impressive.

Nice bike, but that tire combo is REALLY weird.

20" MX razrs in the front and 20" razr2's in the back?

Might have some weird handling :P

What kind of riding are u going to be doing?

spacers....you get the same effect of a wider axle and its cheaper but it will generally eat your hub and axle bearings to hell a lot faster which will cost you more in the long run. Wider axles are more efficient and easier on hubs and bearings, less likely to mess something up and most have a lifetime warranty so if u bend it you get a new one. Most cost quite a bit though but I feel its def worth it.

Good for you buying your quad, what do you want kid, a cookie? FWIW, I've been riding for 32 years and I would NEVER put some noobie on a full blown machine that could possibly get him hurt. I have three kids, one a 13 year old that thinks he needs a CR125, but even though he may be able to handle it, he's got to do more saddle time on his CRF before I cut him lose on something bigger.

Whoever blaine is, I'm sure he started on a lesser powered machine and worked his way up. If he didn't, why don't we see or hear of him racing on the national circuit? Just because someone has some "cool" videos of him/her on the track doesn't mean he's some racing prodigy.

well at the moment im riding round the local sandbanks and abandoned airfield, but im hoping to join a club and start practising on the track, just got to find one first as quads are abit rare in my area, the quad handles very well in my opinion, why is it such a wierd combo (sorry im still learning and this is how the bike came)

Please try not to start this bickering on this thread. Tank just let the kid say what he wants....Im already ignoring him. And i know what you mean you def need to work your way up. I started on a Yamaha Moto4 80. But that was also back in the early 80's. Then went to my Honda 125, then I took over my dads 250R, then I went Banshee which im selling or trading for a YFZ450 or a 450R If anyone is interested, and now im at my 450R and happy with it.

Good point BM23, I was in a pretty bad mood last night, normally I let this kind of crap pass and I will in the future.
