I'm looking for a good place to have a group ride in the southern states. If you any of you have some good info or websites that I can look at, I would appreciate it. I'm looking for something with a mix of riding (Trails/MX/Drag) and some camping or nearby hotels.

So if you have a favorite riding spot that provides enough fun for a whole weekend, get me the info! Thanks.

I would have to say Evarts Ky or Turkey Bay. Unless you are wanting to go futher south.

I have to agree Harold. Those places would be great except those places really don't have a variety. They are all trails.

I honestly think that Turkey Bay is probably the best place that is in the general area. Evarts might be too far east.

This is going to be a cannondaleriders ride and we're trying to attract some people from a little further west. We have had about 5 or 6 group rides and they have all been in Virginia or Western PA.

We might have to settle if nobody comes up with some good spots. I would go back to LBL in a heartbeat. I love that place.

I have been wanting to get down there soon. I'll let you know when we head that way. Maybe you can go with us.

Anywhere in the south! Anywhere from Virginia all the way to Miami. Or South Carolina all the way to eastern Texas. I literally mean anywhere in the south. Thanks for the links!

I have been meaning to check that place out. I have family in Whitesburg but I just haven't been able to work visiting Harlan into my schedule.

Tell me something....Do they have camping? Showers? Riding from Campground to Trails? MX or Drag strip? Marked Trails? Trail maps?
