frame rails

just wondering if i should keep my quad-tech skid or not, has anyone ever had problems with frame rails wearing through from lack of a fullchassis skidplate?

what do you ride i assume mx with the ltr? the skid can still keep rocks and debris on the track from punching a hole in the case
