Some of you have seen me posting a bunch of threads about a bill in my area that was to ban the use of all off road vehicles on less than 5 acres and limit the use of them on 5 acres or more. Well last night the Council Woman that introduced the Bill withdrew the bill due to "the largest response they have ever received on any bill they have ever proposed" They were bombarded with emails, phone calls, letter, visitors, etc... for the past several weeks and I guess it worked!!! WE WON!!! Now we just have to wait and make sure she doesn't try to sneak anything else through like this. But I did want to extend a very big THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE ATVRIDERS.COM MEMBERS THAT HELPED IN ANY WAY AND TO THE ATVRIDERS.COM ADMIN AND MOD'S FOR ALLOWING ME TO POST SEVERAL THREADS ON THE SAME SUBJECT IN DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE MESSAGE BOARD. IT REALLY MADE A DIFFERENCE AND HELPED PRESERVE OUR PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS IN THIS COUNTY. THANKS AGAIN!!!

thats what i like to see. It shows we have a voice and just need to use it more often.
