I thought you had that awesome rad carrier you wrote about. Your axle should go into a regular carrier, but don't quote me on that.

pic w/out ms paint....if someone can find out the reason why the axle wont fit id almost be willing to pay a reward lol....or how can i make it fit? the axle is a 250r Lonestar Axcaliber i have the 250r axle nut threads to make it workon my ex, the carrier on the other hand is a mystery i have no idea what brand it is their are no markings anywhere on it no #s nothing.this is for my 400ex i got a really good deal on the axle and thats why i bought the 250r axle for the 400ex, the axle fit the stock carrier no problems but i wanted to change it because the stock carrier was cracked.now im left with notta zip zilch nothing.....would anyone be willing to trade me for the stock carrier or buy it so i can put it towards the new carrier? lol.

no, it's definaley not a tapered carrier. If your stock axle won't fit, then its definately not for a 400ex. Maybe a 300. Aftermarket carriers and stock use the same inner dimension bearing. so just find another carrier, figure out what the carrier you have is and sell it. I cracked my carrier so I had to get another one. I got a lonestar carrier and like it. The only thing is when I went to put fresh bearings in it, a bearing kit cost like 86 bucks, so I got my bearings for it from U.S. Bearing.

I thought a 450 axle would interchange into a 400 carrier. If you have any measuring calipers, I'll measure my bearings and tell you the size of 'em.
