Well this summer I installed the iShock 4500 kit AC Pro Peg Nerfs, After market oil tank, Black Air Shrouds, and a Chrome +4 Axle. I'm looking to go to the next step and that would be black hubs, black plastics, some new black Pro Taper handle bars, and a black swinger. Is this too much black? Oh yeah a Monster graphics kit to...

what is wrong with them? I thought they were too but I didn't do anything to change them. Could that be why I'm having clearance issues with the rear tires?

it looks like the forward mount does not go to that motor mount...the backs are too low, the front too high...

Thats weird I have the exact same nerfs and mine are mounted to the same spot, but mine sits perfectly, totally level and plenty of room for the rear tires...I wonder if you got the wrong nerfs?

i was thinking that too, but i have pro armor nerfs and didn't know exactly how those went on, but they are obviously not right

You know mine were a pain to put on, didnt line up well at all, and everyone on here has complained of the same thing, and posted pics of the mounts coming from AC pitched different ways and stuff. Maybe you just got a REALLY bad set, instead of their standard "kinda close but you'll still need a prybar" set.

looks to me like the part that the bar itself slides over right where the pegs go is upside down

Pipeless416 did you paint your motor? I like the black but that seems like a good way to insulate your motor and reduce heat dissapation. Any noticable effects from the color change?

Well, not that my opinion matters much, but I would leave the hubs alone. At least yours are that pretty silver instead of bright red. No, thats not too much black, go for it, but I would re-think that Monster energy graphics kit. I'm not crazy about them and I think this whole energy drink thing with all the racers is kinda gay.

yes, and i have actually never had over heating issues since i did it last spring. not even any chips in the paint except for when i accidentally slipped with a socket wrench.:o i have a whole thread on this that you'll find if you search "painted engine."
