I basically found this frame out in a field. It had been torn down with the hopes of a rebuild but ended up sitting for four years unprotected....sheesh!!. It had a broken bottom motor mount, crack by the left footpeg and 3 of the 4 front motor mounts were broke as well (all poorly kinda rewelded) but somehow it was staight. So we basically started from ground zero and 8hrs later came up with this thanx to bushwesl and this thread http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=308056 So its finally off to powder this week and i should have full roller by this halloween...its going to be HOT!!! Thank you all for all the help...J

Looks good man... very nice job!!

I would drill out like a 1/2 inch hole on each gusset to make it look better.. The front lower mounts look SOLID!!!

Looks good, did you add gussets to the front end anywhere?

I will be doing my frame this winter, so the more pics/idea's I have for the gussets the better :D thanks!

Here's a thread with pics of gussets in case you haven't seen it yet.

Strength > Looks

Why would you weaken the gussets by drilling holes in them? Kinda defeats the purpose....

Drilling holes will NOT weaken it, it will help reduce harmonic's (vibrations) and cracking though and allow for some flex, which is needed on a stock frame.
