we raced in lyman,maine at mx207 this weekend for NEATV-MX and friday was a real nice day spent chilling out on old orchard beach which is about 20 minutes from the track and went to the track on saturday to get some practice in. well my cousin races two classes 70 limited on predator 70 with every mod possible and the 90 auto jr class on a robbs racing trx125 much like the one that pappy's son races just different exhaust,shocks,and plastics style and during practice on saturday he managed to shear the keyway in the flywheel which at first we thought was top end so we scrambled to pull the motor just to find out it was only that and then when we fixed that and put everything back together he went back out on the 90 and tried to clear a double and came up a little short and ripped the rezzie line out of the rear shock so we drove an hour from the track to have one made and scrambled to fix it before we went to bed that night...
on sunday he went out on the 70 first moto and ran second until just before the finish line on the last lap he snapped the spark plug in half
on the 90 in the first moto his only real competition broke an axle and he won the moto
second moto for the 70 class was sliding through a corner and hit the berm and rolled the bike and when he did his head went back and his chest protector shifted up and some of the plastic on the chest protector went inside his helmet and sliced the back of his head up by his ears down to the bone about 2 inches across...
missed the 90 second moto for the er trip
all this and hes still winning the 70 points and second in the 90s
