Did some of the 06's KICK starts come with Black plastic? I know the 05's did.

06 dont have kick start ....there are electric start

Wrong, there are 06-08 kickstarts. I think you could get the 06 in black, but for 07 and 08 the kickers are red only.

Yes their are factory 06-08 kickers. I have an 07.

All year 450rs can be purchased with a kickstart. 04-05 come in black and red (kick only) and the newer models only come in red for the kickstart models (to my knowledge).

I was looking at an used 06 kick but the plastic was black. I thought the kicks only came in red. Thanks

I'm pretty sure you could get the 06 kickers in black as well. It's the 07-08 that are only in red.

I have a black 06 kicker, they came in black and red. I think in 07 they started only doing red kickers but not positive.
