It sounds weird but is true. The plug is rough and covered with bumps. I am thinking it is from the fuel I run which is Sunoco 110. I run this because my bike runs hot and will start running rough. This fuel does make the bike run cooler. I know it isnt necessary to run this high of octane with a 12:1 piston, but it has made a difference. My jetting is to Sparks request and my spark plug is tan underneath all the bumps. Is this from the fuel or what. Should I mix half and half?

I always thought that using higher octane fuel when not needed resulted in loss of preformance? correct me if im wrong

Try switching to 91 pump gas and see what happens..
Those plugs are like 25 bucks though

I know:ermm: I would get a new spark plug and try some different things and see what happens, but like you said they are around 20 bucks.

I just ran the bike and it runs great. I am not sure what is causing this weird texture on the plug. Does any one have any ideas?
