any help please i have a 2005 450r honda i believe the tranny oil is leaking in to the motor oil is this possiable if so what is wrong how can i fix
any help would be great

there is an internal seal that has probaly gone bad. I think you may be able to get to it from one of the side covers tho, so you may not have to split the case.

Yes the right side crank seal will let the oil run Into the crank side. I just went through this, with a 04 450r. It was leaking so bad that It over filled the crank side so full that It was blowing oil into the air box.
You can change the seal without splitting the case. You have to remove the clutch basket, balancer gear. Have you checked the crank bearing In the right side yet? Thats what was wrong with the 04 I did.

thanks guys that is a relief i am going to tear in to her this week
anyone know what the seal is called i would like to order before i get all torn down and just sitting waiting
