Is a 450r Header suppose to glow orange??

only when it's running... I have seen many do that especially when you ride at night.

It's normal to see it glow at night.

Thats when it glows is at night. But i dint know if that was normal.

I dont think it glows selectively at night. Im guessing it's probably just the darkness. I have the same problem with my flashlights =)

yeah they glow cause they make the tubing really thin, and it saves weight that way, so they are red at night, just make sure you have the jetting right, cause it will screw up if you dont, and can cost a lot of money to fix.

my 06 glows as soon as you start it up in the day time and the pipe felt very hot when sitting on the bike i just did a piston & rings and valve job and now it dont glow as bad still glows a little at night

yeah almost all larger engine quads glow. When I used to drag my friends at night my headers were bright enough to use as a flashlight, ok maybe not that bright but my friends 450r does the same, just starting it and slowly riding on it for 5 minutes it glows.
