Installed a new slip on exhaust for my daughters 300ex and it is too close to the rear brake reservoir, does anyone make a relocation bracket or should I just fab one up myself? Thanks!

when i had my 300, i acually routed a new line up behind the air box. It was the only place that i could think of that wouldnt get too hot.

thats a good idea sjorge. i ziptied mine inboard on the frame with some rubber between it and the tubing.

On my 250x the plastic bowed out and the lid wouldnt fit tight.. I put a brake reservoir from a suzuki TL 1000r street bike on it.. it made the hose longer and straighter.. the majority of it sits on the inside of the frame away from the exhaust.. and sits a little higher.. and hold more fluid... You could always wrap it the reservoir in exhaust heat shield tape..

When I put the Sparks exhaust on my daughters bike had same issue. I put heatshield on the reservoir then simply zip-tied it. been there for a year of racing with no problems.

On my 300 I just rotated the reservoir 180 degrees and mounted it inboard of the frame between it and the airbox in the same mounting hole. It's a bit tight but it works. Some kind of a heat shield wouldn't be a bad idea but it isn't really needed. Mine has been this way for 5 years and never caused any problems.
