Grab bar/subframe help??????

ok... I know this has been asked before, but I feel like this is a ongoing problem and I need a help tip on this... My grab bar is bent... I was thinking about welding
bar stock inside of the tube after I bent it back..... But ..... I have seen many people talk about a 89 250r grab bar modification. I was wondering what the measurements were on that grab bar and if anybody took into this modification. Lonestar has a 400ex subframe that has these mounts but I don't want to spend the money. I also heard the 450r 05 grab bar is the same as a 250r??? is this true?
Anybody have any pics of this grab bar mounted on a 400ex??? also ... Is the mod worth it.... Or should I just cut it and weld bar stock inside of it??

I know a lot of people use the 250R grab bar mod. Go with either the 250 or 450 I don't know if they are the same though.

I broke my grab bar off and I just jammed 2 pieces of threaded rod in the frame and grab bar, pushed them together drilled and put cotter pins though to hold it together so when it bends again I can just straighten it out.

yes the 250R grab bar works the best. 300ex also works well. I think the measurement is 9 7/8 if i remember correctly...it was over a year ago when i did mine.
