I just bought a Dyna FS, and am waiting untill I have time to install it. Meanwhile, I looked at a couple forums that say you have to upgrade valve springs or other parts so you don't risk floating a cam or damaging something else. :confused:

Should I have to do anything to the engine? I already have a K&N kit, and a Speedwerx exhaust so... If anyone can let me know it would be appreciated thanks!

I had a big gun cdi over rev installed on my KFX and I would think it would be ok, unless you started racing the machine. I can't imagine you floating the valves enough during general riding to do any damage. JMOP.

when my quad was stock Well k&n And hmf pipe i put a cdi on it did mess up the valves the retainer clip actually came off also i have heard of other people having problems on another site
i think its a gamble
you would need to change the valve springs only
