i'm in highschool but training to be a CAD/CAM designer. I know a bit bout the CNC milling but CAD is what I do best. I will try and take mine off, measure it and draw it on AutoCAD. I'll let ya know

I'm just in a tech high school and in the engineering and drafting programs. I also do robotics. I have created some cool thingson AutoCAD. I have drawn and milled the Honda logo, i've done a few houses, i drew an enzo ferrari. I actually thought about making plexy glass/acrillic air scoops haha but idk.

My school has some pretty cool programs. Automotive has lifts and everything you need for a car. The schools only a few years old so its all technology and what not.

do you not have a seat latch of your own to take the dimensions from?

at the risk of sounding like a deek!!

then you dont need to be doing it then. lol being a machinist involves being able to design as well as being able to mok up something/reading and applying the information thats in front of you. it takes patients and precision. with a pencil, scratch paper and a cheap pair of calipers it may take 15 minutes at the most to record a latch.
