My son has outgrown his 50cc Chinese import and it's time for him to upgrade. To be honest I don't know too much about the different 80cc and 90cc quads out there. I will be buying it new and It needs to last him at least 3 yrs and hopefully more like 4 yrs. As of right now I am leaning more toward the new Outlaw 90, Primarily because I've heard that the Kawi and Suzi are slugs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Paco.

What type of riding does your son do? Will he be racing?

I would suggest a DRR/DRX 90. $ for $, the DRX is wider and more stable, faster and, in MY opinion, would give you more bang for the buck.

Apex Pro Shark 90cc with reverse makes a very nice trail quad.

If you are strictly trail riding I would look into the Yamaha Grizzly 125 but if you are planning on racing or riding mx I would suggest the DRR/DRX. We have a Grizzly 125 and it is a great trail quad that has no problem getting wet, muddy, etc... It is also automatic so your rider can concentrate on riding instead of shifting. Also has reverse for those tight trails and will definitely last him for several years.

The first thing we need to know is what type of riding / racing you plan on doing and then go from there.

I do agree with Adam (mxdad)………. just take your time and research it well. Buying local means a lot to me I like to be able to walk in the place and get parts or what ever face to face.

Yeah Adam that post sounded pretty intelligent for a Ravens fan………. Hahaha
