what do you think to spand the extra money for the 08
or save the money with the 07 (i will get the irs anyway)

There were no significant changes from the '07 to the '08 models. The only changes were the color and the addition of the Fox shocks on the front. The Ryde FX front shocks were actually pretty good on the 525. I know you can get some really good deals on leftover '07 525's right now though. My local dealer is selling an '07 525 for $5999 making room for the '08's.

I have zero complaints about my ride fx shocks. It did take me a few rides to get them adjusted but I can hit whoops nearly wide open without any problems.
