ok need help never done this before. Just got a new piston a high compression and I dont know which one is the top ring one is black with a sorta groove on the outside but only half the width of the ring and the other ring is silver and smooth on the out side.
So whoever has done this before it would help. I need to know which on goes in the top slit and which one goes in the second one. Thanks

The thick rings are the compression rings, i don't thiink it matter which is on top or bottom...but the other three rings...there's a ring that is rigid and there's two flat ones, the "rigid" one is the oil ring, put one of the flat rings in, put the oil ring under that one than put another flat ring under the oil ring...i'll get a picture for you later on tonight, i still have my stock piston.
