Axle replacment questions

I am putting a new axle and carrier in my 300 ex. Do I need to use any kind of lube or any thing special to put this in. Thanks for your help!

No just put a lot of grease on it.

the more grease the better. any time my axle comes out i re-grease too. if you've got a lsr or a burablue axle with a wanranty, anything that happens to it related to the bearing carrier isn't covered under wanranty. keep it greased.
