Quits with throttle

Just got my quad back together it starts hard but it starts and now when I push the throttle even just barely it quits. Wont run with out the choke either. Any guess as to whats wrong? Havent changed anything in it.

Sounds like the carb is gummed up. You need to take it a part and clean out the jets.

Is in an 06/07? I accidentally cut one of the wires coming out of my thumb throttle housing and it would idle when I started it but as soon as I barely touched the throttle id just shut off every time. Check to make sure that wire coming out of the thumb housing is hooked up or not cut.

Found the problem. My friend who put the throttle cable on ran it through the wrong way on the heat shield. It was really tight I happened to see it and re routed it and it fired right up and throttle works now.
