I inherited a 2003 trx 90 to rebuild and came across some used parts cheap to get it running for the neighbor kid. I have everything together and there are a few things i'm not sure on. My experience has been mostly with 2 stroke mini's.

1) There is a vaccum hose coming from the neck just below where the throttle cable goes into the carb. It attaches at the carb and can't figur out where it goes. It has a square rubber boot on it.

2) The cylinder i got used, doesn't have the air pump tube coming from it like the stocker does. So i 'm guessing it won't hurt anything to just block off the lines and ports associated with it. hat pump is just emmissions , isn't it ?

It doesn't go anywhere it is a carb vent, just run it down.

You can just remove all the emissions stuff.

Thanx. ;)

The boot on the line threw me , but when i looked at the microfiche it told me it was a vent.....i'm used to the mikuni's and keihins.

The emissions stuff is gone and the quad runs well.
