I had that problem with my Lonestar when I first got it. It was like that for 2 years. Until I saw a thread that someone started that had contacted Lonestar with the problem. Come to find out they had a bad run of chrome that made the stems 2mm smaller in diameter. They sent me a new clamp for free, no questions asked. I didn't have to prove that I bought it or even that owned one. I would mic the old and new stems. If it is smaller call Lonestar. Mine is perfect ever since I received the new clamp.

did u try tightening the anti vibe mounts on the bottom of the bolts that go through the holes on the top part of the actual stem itself???

If you replaced your stock stem for a aftermarket one, you might need to take the round black piece of plastic off your old stem and put it on the new one. Thats what I did for mine. It was near the top where it would get tightened down by a bracket that connects to the frame. Hope this helps.:)

Well it turns out my stem wasn't even a Laegers stem anyway. It just had a Laegers sticker on it. I called lonestar and a lady told me I was going to have to pay for the clamp. So I hung up on her, and called Dan's ext, and he hooked me up for free. If you guys want to check out the thread I bumped it up.
