i just got my 250r...and it leaks oil out from right where the pipe connects to the engine...and where its adjustable? is this ok? is it affecting my performance at all? and after a couple hours of riding it really leaks and makes everything gooey and dirty =x thanks for any reply.

try resealing the 2 areas with copper permatex silicone, has to be high heat copper so doesnt melt,if leaking rally bad your pilot jet ,or main jet may be one size too big, dropping one size smaller may help with excess oil

Mine didn't leak it out of the adjustable portion, but did out of the head. I bought one of those aftermarket Flanges and it fixed the issue. They were on sale for like $35 at RPM, not sure if they still have them.

i dont have any pilot jets, but i will drop my main jet down to 330 and see if it makes a difference.....and i should silicone the pipe together? wouldnt that just ruin the adjustable part?

it does seem really weak, but this is the only 250r i have ridden, how would i go about making it leaner? just put a smaller jet in it? theres a 340, ill drop it down to a 330 or 320, thatll do it? or does other stuff need to be done, thanks.
