power commander

this is for a ut... but i figured the power section would be fine. i have an 07 rancher FI and wanting to get this thing breathing right. I figured ill throw a K&N on and slip on exhuast but was wondering has anybody played with reflashing them or just using power commanders or something of that nature to really get the power out of it after opening it up.
