I just had my sons top end redone with a wiseco 1 over piston,on his LT80. Picked it up from the dealer and it runs fine for about a minute then the motors locks up and shuts off. It will take about a minute to start up and then runs for minute. Any ideas what it might be???

I have an idea...Stupid dealer put a stupid weisco in. LMAO!!
Stick an ice cube in it to cool it down....

Seriously tho, LONG TIME!!! How ya been?
I passed thru last year going from Phoenix to Dallas and thought of you.

OK the problem...The weisco piston has stuck. You must take it apart,, sand the bageezus out of the piston and cylinder where it stuck (usually below the ring gaps/front of piston).
They usually run fine then.
ALTHO, once apart, I'd be getting a 1.0 Suzuki piston for it and not having problems.

Weisco's are for bores over 1.0 and require more clearance (.0035) and low rpm break-in.

Im doing great Jack, I'm surprised you still remember. I just got started again with my 6 yr old. So I picked up a used LT80 and trying to get it going. Let me ask you....the quad doesn't seem to shift gears, could that be the rollers? Thanks for the help.
And by the way, I did try using ice. lol
