440 stroker do they run hot?

i'm lookin for a 400ex with a junk motor to build a 440 stroker and someone told me they tend to run hot. anybody have trouble with this?

440 Big bores are notorious for running hot.

My 440 stroker doesn't run much warmer than it did when it was stock.

jet it a little richer and keep the bike moving we dont have no problems with this set up
