hard to start and smokin

It takes longer to start and it stalls alot once started, then when you first punch it in first it will let out a big puff of bluish/greyish smoke. Something with the oil?

How much colder is it there now? You might need a rejet now... Maybe try putting the air box lid back on.

How long has it been since it has had the top end freshened up? Might be low compression and blow by. My guess would be the rings are shot. This would cause the symptoms you described.
