View Full Version : how to clean hats?

so off all the hats that i have, well the new ones, are the ones with the front that have some type of mesh, when i hadn wash them, they always shrink in the front part. what do i do to stop this...

nobody has had this problem with their hats?

recomend me a good way to clean hats with out geting them shrinked.

Hand wash it.

Wash it then let it air dry???

I always put mine (prior to flex fit) overtop of a pan to hold the shape.

ive had bad experiences cleaning hats too. they always lose their shape. i figured out that the less water you use the better. so i just get a bowl of soap and water and dip a tooth brush in it and scrub the hat instead of drenching it in water.

these are the ones that i'm talking about...

in the front they have a type of mesh that with water and/or sun they shrink, dont know why.

Just stick it on the top shelf of your dishwasher when you run it. It works great !!!!!

I will definately have to try that, just use regular dishwasher soap?
