which rear tire for 400ex on hardpack??

Where we live ,the dirt is very dry powdery and hardpack,which tire do you reccomend for out 400ex??I have Razrs on my 300ex and love them but I think they may grab too much on the 400ex,what do you think?? Thanks...Tina:)

i love my razr's on the hard pack! we have a lot of trails like that around here and they work really well.

there is no better way to go on hardpack when you have turf tamers!!! i love mine on hard pack they hook up so good

yep! ungrooved tammers are the best for hard pack. They will ware out quicker then other tires but not that bad. I wouldn't say any faster then the razr's well maybe a bit.

I would either go with turf tamers ungrooved or you could use the 18 inch maxxis if you like those. They provide less traction than the 20's

I would also have to say turf tamers.
Most likely you won't notice that much of a difference because everything will hook up on hard packed. But the tamers slide great and make cornering a breeze once you get used to them.
