I'm working on a buddies '94 Bayou 220. His nephew broke the shift shaft off at the shifter. I pulled the right side cover to remove the shaft. Put the new shaft in and thought I'd put a new seal on the shift side. The shaft itself seems to move around alot on the left side where it comes out of the case. I noticed on the right side there is a bushing where the shaft goes in. I feel like there should be one on the left side too. Does anybody know if there should be that much play, or is there a bushing missing?
